Appreciation towards   OJB   for providing the following description:

OJB In 2013, the estate of Carolyn and Maurice LeBauer gifted the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro with a bequest to create a new urban park for “the benefit and enjoyment of the general population of Greensboro, particularly children and their families.”

Located on a 4.5-acre site in the heart of downtown Greensboro, the park’s final implementation will realign key downtown streets to encourage a stronger relationship with the upcoming Steven Tanger Performing Arts Center and will become the heart of a new cultural arts district.

The park is organized around a concert lawn and performance pavilion that will be crowned with a permanent installation from renowned Boston-based artist Janet Echelman. The actively programmed park will also include a significant children’s garden and interactive water feature, dog park, reading room, games area, a croquet lawn, and putting green. It is anticipated the park will be financially self-sustaining. In addition to including several food and beverage kiosks, it will also accommodate the wide range of festivals and other civic-scale events from the greater Greensboro area.

This lawn can accommodate enough citizens. the ribbon lights above the lawn are especially eye – catching, especially those lines under the lights, which add to the stiff outline of the soft ribbon.

On the side of the oval dry jet square, the spray head of this dry jet square is very special, which can change different spray heights and angles.

The central area is our children’s playground – ” blue bear”

The whole children’s playground makes the space more interesting by shaping different height difference relationships. at the same time, the application of simulation lawn is not only durable but also safer for loved ones.
